I am the Diva Challenge #78

This weeks challenge from Laura which you can see  here is to use Auraknot. I was off to a head start with this one as I had used it for Erins Zendala challenge last week.

Auraknot in Zendala
For the Zendala a structured approach was needed. I then tried a more unstructured approach for this challenge. I really love this tangle because it looks so complicated but is actually really easy to do.
What I found really takes the time is the shading if you want it to look three dimensional.

My final attempt was a more simple tile but I love how this one turned out.

  1. Fantastic, all of these. If I have to choose a favourite, it must be the last one as I'm loving seeing how organic patterns soften this tangle so beautifully.

  2. Your deconstructed star is awesome. The Zendala challenge piece looks like an architectural design. It's beautiful.

  10. Oh, man; what lovely things you've done with this tangle. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. The first one is so geometrically perfect (I also tried a zendala using Erin's template with Auraknot); the second one that is curved, is beautiful (you truly do a great job with parallel lines) and the third one, is now organic because of the leaf shapes you added. This will end up being one of my favorite posts for this tangle.
