I am the Diva - Challenge #71
This week yet another great challenge from Laura at http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.co.uk/
I found using Pea-nuckle really difficult. I can not do it in a way tht flows easily and it's not relaxing to use for me. I have to concentrate too hard on getting it right. I am too much of a perfectionist. I went for a tangelation and made it stripey, to match my favoutite tangle pattern which sneaks in again!
I don't think I will be using pea-nuckle again, but it was good to try it out.
When I first opened your tile my initial thought was "oh, how
ReplyDelete'Precise"! Your clean lines are amazing and the detail is impressive in its delicate touch!
And yet your composition has turned out to be pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of the black and white stripey tangles too and I love how you get the touch of 'shine' on the leaves.
ReplyDeleteI love your tile and combination of tangles. And, I think your Pea-nuckle turned out great! I had a really hard time with it, too, but the more I did it the more I liked it. I plan to keep at it. LOL I hope maybe you will, too, because you certainly can do it well.
ReplyDeleteI like your tile and love the stripes on Pea-Knucle.
ReplyDeleteI really like your tile and the stripes on Pea-Knuckle.
ReplyDeleteI think you did an amazing job with pea-knuckle. Your entire tile is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful tile. So crisp and full of contrast. I like your interpretation of pea-nuckle and your other choices of tangles really show it off. Well done.
ReplyDeleteFiona, this is so well done! I envy you your perfect (in my eyes) pea-nuckle. Hide it for a few days and then have a look at it. You will be proud of yourself. Try it and see...
ReplyDeleteIt kind of looks like a metal support for your plants you have there, and I hope that snake doesn't knock it down!(My weird imagination!" I love the sheen on the leaves. Really nice!
ReplyDeleteLove your contrast on Pea-nuckle, well done. It looks effortless and flows beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI was just checking back to see yours again and realized my comment didn't show up, I feel so bad because it was meant to be seen immediately. I want you to know that your tile is strikingly beautiful! I love the clean lines and precise pattern! The leaves are glowing in there beauty! Your pea-knuckle is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention that your delicate background patterns are especially sweet!
DeleteI forgot to add that your background patterns are especially sweet!
DeleteI love your tile with it's striking stripes and a zen garden feel to it!
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty! Love the way your leaves sparkle and your bubbles trying to break free!
ReplyDeleteOoo! I like this! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteI love this tile! Your pea-nuckle looks really great, even if it was difficult. I'm not sure tangling has to be easy or relaxing to "work". Sometimes that intense concentration produces a different kind of zen. At any rate, your tile is very stylish and classy looking.
ReplyDeleteI think your pea=nuckle is really striking with the stripes. I too did not find this "relaxing"; but I keep persevering, hoping I'll "get it", soon. I love the tangles you chose to go with it too.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I really like the way you striped the pea-nuckle, and your choice of other tangles, and the way you shaded them, adds great depth to this tile. Congratulations on a job well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love what you did with Pea-Knuckle!
