I am the Diva Challenge #78
This weeks challenge from Laura which you can see here is to use Auraknot. I was off to a head start with this one as I had used it for Erins Zendala challenge last week.
Auraknot in Zendala |
What I found really takes the time is the shading if you want it to look three dimensional.
My final attempt was a more simple tile but I love how this one turned out.
Fantastic, all of these. If I have to choose a favourite, it must be the last one as I'm loving seeing how organic patterns soften this tangle so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteYour deconstructed star is awesome. The Zendala challenge piece looks like an architectural design. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAmazing job!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one - fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGracefully drawn lines always draw the eye and give us a happy thought! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful tangles. I love the last one too, it's so organic looking despite all it's angles. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteStunning - I love all of them but the first took my breath away. Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and so creative!
ReplyDeleteAll three are amazing, and you're right, the shading makes a huge difference and you're a pro at it!
ReplyDeletei love that last one - haven't seen one quite like it - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, man; what lovely things you've done with this tangle. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. The first one is so geometrically perfect (I also tried a zendala using Erin's template with Auraknot); the second one that is curved, is beautiful (you truly do a great job with parallel lines) and the third one, is now organic because of the leaf shapes you added. This will end up being one of my favorite posts for this tangle.
