The challenge this week from Laura at
I am the Diva was to use the tangle Sankegg. This was one that I had not tried before, and like a lot of other people this week I found it quite tricky. I did not find that this tangle flowed very easily and it was a struggle to get the shapes looking symmetrical. I tried a couple of Tangleations. I like the one on the RHS however the one in the top left I think has come out too busy. I wish I had not filled in the shapes with the swirls.
A good challenge to get me out of my comfort zone, however I do not this that this tangle will go to the top of my favourite list.

Oh wow, these are fun and you got them to line up together perfectly. Very nice!
ReplyDeletevery nice. I really love the fill your have used on your various sankeggs
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job here, with this hard to draw tangle.
ReplyDeleteEach variation is fantastic! I really love the rounded lines on the right side!
ReplyDeleteSo nice. What a great job you did with this tangle.
ReplyDeleteThis is yummy, love all your fanciful fills!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done - love the way you filled and embellished Sankegg.
ReplyDeleteI need more practice on that Eke tangle because you made it look good! Love the tangles in the tangles.
ReplyDeleteI actually think the swirly ones are my favorite. I think this tangle is pretty heavy/harsh looking. With the swirls you lightened it up and it looks delicate.
