I tried to do something different for my first one I used the tangle in a similar way to IX. I also used it as a border of little feet.My scanner would not scan the entire border for some reason, it kept chopping bits off! Grr
The second card I did something more symmetrical. I liked using the tangle on the border in a small version and then much larger for the main pattern.
I wasn't sure about this pattern when I first saw it, but once again I have been put out of my comfort zone and enjoyed the process, thanks Laura.
Love seeing your tangles.
ReplyDeleteBoth tiles are very nicely done. Great work.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use the pattern as the basis of your drawing and then tangle around it. Both of your drawings are very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I want to try out those birdie feet. I love your little birdie feet borders, too.
ReplyDeleteI love your interpretation of this challenge! Both tiles are great and I love the borders in each!
ReplyDeleteI do like both of them!
ReplyDeleteYou really made the tangle outstNding. How clever to use it as a string in the second tile, it gives it so much more dimension. I do love your creative solution with this tangle!
ReplyDeleteI really like your treatment of this tangle. I almost didn't recognize it in the border of the second one. There's great symmetry in both of these tiles, and they are my favorite so far.
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful! I like the way you used Birdie Feet and your choice of the other tangles. Great job!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, but I am blown away by the second one! It is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on both your tiles.
ReplyDeleteNice tiles! Love the string in the second one!
ReplyDeleteLove both the tiles. Really neat and focussed.
ReplyDeleteOh, wonderful! I love these tiles because they are so geometrical and stylich.
ReplyDeleteLike your use of it ala IX. Think the second looks like a carpet.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love the second one reminds me of the rune stone Elhaz meaning protection
ReplyDeleteI just love these. I ♥ the second one. It highlights the pattern and uses it as a string. I thought of rune stones too.
